This time last year I was gearing up for my big Country Living pitch. Nervous right down to the toes of the rubber boots I wear in the garden. This year, March has been a little easier. Let me catch you up on the winter events...
The business is moving buildings yet again. I hope, hope, hope that this is the final move for PourAPie. We have been renting a commercial kitchen for the last 2 years but feel the need to have more control over our space. So moving again it is. Isn't that why we start our own business to have the control? My dad is working on the remodeling for me. It is going pretty slow but he is cheap labor.(LOL) The goal is to be in it by May. We start gearing up for all shows and markets by April so I guess I am cutting this pretty close but then that is just my style.
I have spent the winter working on a new project...designing aprons. I just looovve aprons. I think they are so cool. I have been told that I was born a couple of generations too late. I guess I can agree except for the indoor plumbing. There is something about a flushable toilet that just soothes all your nerves!
My dh has taken a lot of pictures of the wildlife around the farm this winter. I will try and post a shot or two. The deer are pretty to look at except when they are in my gardens. I keep telling them that this is not a smoragasboard. I guess it is going right in the middle. I promise to get better at this.
See ya on the farm
